Russia Is Learning That Countries That Live in Gas Houses Shouldn’t Throw Drones

Ukraine's bold strategy of targeting Russian refineries to undermine Moscow's war capabilities is proving effective, yet the reported opposition from the Biden administration raises questions.

Despite fears of Russian retaliation, Ukraine's history of pushing past Russian red lines demonstrates its resilience and determination. These strikes have already dealt significant blows to Russia's refining capacity, impacting its exports and revenue streams. By supporting Ukraine's efforts and implementing additional measures such as military aid and sanctions, the US can effectively pressure Russia to end its aggression in Ukraine and bring about a resolution to the conflict.

It's imperative to recognize the strategic importance of Ukraine's actions and to bolster its ability to continue disrupting Russia's war efforts while simultaneously pursuing diplomatic initiatives to de-escalate the situation and bring about a lasting peace.
