Funding: The company raised $13 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Export Development Canada on December 23, 2022. Honeywell Ventures, NSK, EC Mergers and Acquisitions, and other undisclosed investors also participated in the round.

Elevator Pitch: Aerospace and defense supply chain software designed to digitize the relationship between aerospace companies and their suppliers with a living specification workflow.
Funding: The company raised $3.1 million of seed funding on January 17, 2023 in a deal led by Wischoff Ventures. Other undisclosed investors also participated in the round.
Intellectual Property Protection Bill Signed Into Law
President Joe Biden signed into law a bipartisan bill that seeks to protect U.S. intellectual property by imposing economic penalties on companies and individuals involved in IP theft.
“In China and other countries across the globe, foreign corporations are working – often in coordination with authoritarian regimes – to steal our cutting edge technologies to gain unfair advantages at America’s expense.”
The Protecting American Intellectual Property Act, requires a congressional report that identifies a firm or individual that has provided support for theft of U.S. trade secrets, especially if the theft poses a threat to U.S. national security, economic health, foreign policy or financial stability.
At least five sanctions will be imposed on any firm identified in the congressional report and individuals identified in the report will not be permitted entry into the U.S.
Hack Russian Files Reveal Propaganda Agreement with China
In 2021, government officials and media executives from Russia and China discussed the exchange of news and social content.
Documents found in a trove of hacked emails from Russia state broadcaster show that China and Russia have pledged to join forces in media content that supports both countries’ agendas-an ideological pushback against the U.S. as the joint enemy.
A bilateral agreement signed July 2021 makes clear that cooperating on news coverage and narratives is a big goal for both Russian and Chinese governments.
